After your Bamboo rafting tour is over. You’ll then be taken to the famous Hip Strip in Montego Bay for lunch, shopping and sightseeing.
Buzzing with activities day and night, the Hip Strip is the heart beat of Montego Bay. It is the epicenter of tourism entertainment, where the town’s most popular shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are located. You’ll have an opportunity to have lunch, browse gifts shops, stop at margaritaville, hookah lounges and weed dispensary.
After your tour is finished your driver will then transport you back to your hotel for drop off.

Hip Strip

Get picked up at your resort in a comfortable air condition van with complimentary water, snacks and light refreshments. Take a ride 30 hour ride along a scenic route in Montego Bay to the beautiful rural community of Lethe.
Here you’ll find the perfect combination of land and water with picturesque views from the hills to the tranquil and refreshingly cool water of the magnificent Great River. Get on board a handcrafted 30ft bamboo raft at the Lethe Village, as your experienced guide navigates the soothing waters.
After your rafting experience is complete you’ll have the opportunity to have lunch at one of our favorite Jamaican restaurants. Chose from a wide variety of local food options including oxtail, curry goat, brownstew chicken and the world’s famous jerk chicken.

Experience this amazing Bamboo Raft adventure on one of the most breathtaking valleys in Jamaica. Enjoy the kisses of the warm Caribbean sun and the gentle caress of the cool island breeze, while your guide gives you an intimate break down of the island’s rich culture and heritage. During your river journey, experience a natural foot rub from your Raft Captain using limestone paste made from the river rocks, locally known as 'Jungle socks'.

I booked the Bamboo Rafting Excursion with Best Of Jamaica Adventure tours for my trip in January. Bamboo rafting was the one thing I wanted to do the most while I was there. Booking was seamless! Travel to Great River was perfect! We stopped for some amazing Jamaican snacks and arrived at the expected time! The bamboo rafting was so calming and the limestone massage was better than any spa I have tried! Our raft guide was so entertaining. My friend and I loved it! This is an amazing 2-in-1 experience! This is the most peaceful and relaxing experience. I wish I coulf have stayed on alll day! There were vendors along the way to stop to. You can choose to do a limestone massage. I did and my skin felt amazing. It's a must do when coming to Jamaica!

This was awesome! Alex and his team were fantastic! They were extremely nice and made sure my husband and I had fun! The bamboo rafting was one of three excursions we went on with them. I would recommend this service to anyone! When in Jamaica make sure you choose BOJ for your private tours!!

We had an amazing time! We had a group of 4. Our driver, Kurth was very attentive and stayed with us the whole time. The bamboo experience was the best! It was so relaxing! We smoke hookah, received amazing massages, and had some good ole rum punch.

I booked bamboo rafting and had the most incredible captain named ‘Mama Boy’, then on the same day Bojadventures arranged my visit at Dunn’s River Fall along with ziplining. Our rafting tour guide was great, funny and that helped! (I cannot remember his name, but he was Awesome)
He (Alex) recommended a closer rafting excursion and that was very helpful and led us to great food, he explained the how the excursion play by play and he was on point.

A lil shopping along the way and your rafting tour guide will stop, so just ask.

Rolling on the River

The crew is amazing. There is a drive through restaurant on the river with the best jerk chicken and oxtails. The restaurant is built on a raft. They have a barbecue pit in the river. I highly recommend it!!!
