La excursión comienza con la recogida a primera hora en su hotel de Montego Bay o Negril en un monovolumen o autobús con aire acondicionado, e incluye las paradas que desee en tres de los siguientes lugares: Appleton Estates, las cataratas YS, el río Negro y Floyd's Pelican Bar.
Puede realizar la visita sobre el ron en Appleton Estates, nadar en las piscinas naturales de las cataratas YS, navegar por el río Negro en pontón o dirigirse a Floyd’s Pelican Bar, un pequeño bar construido con madera de deriva sobre un banco de arena a 0,4 kilómetros (0,25 millas) del mar.

Great day on the South Coast

My family (myself, husband, and 3 kids) went on a great tour of YS Falls and Black River. Both were great, but the kids loved YS falls the most! The youngest and my husband spent most of the time in the pool area and the older ones enjoyed the falls and the zip line. At Black river, they enjoyed the boat ride and seeing the large alligators! Our guide was fun and shared lots of great information about the culture and the island. We will be sure to come back and only use this company!

Our tour guide Charles (Charlito to us) was EVERYTHING, he was kind, funny, considerate, and ensured that our tour was the best! We did the YS Falls and Appleton Rum Estates (supposed to do Black River Safari but there was a storm and we were not upset at all). He provided knowledge of the island and the people of the island. We had street food (from the side of the road) and it was the BEST food ever! He took us to the Harley Davidson store and that meant a lot to me because of my dad (that was not on the tour) but was happy to oblige and take pics for us throughout...I would choose them over and over again! Great start to our vacation. Thanks Charles

Husband & I had a great experience with YJTG. We stayed in Negril, and we had originally booked a tour to ochos ríos/dunn’s falls. The company contacted us well in advance to let us know that that travel was 3 hours one way, and gave us the option of booking this trip instead if we preferred something closer. We really appreciated this, and took them up on their offer. We chose to go to YS falls, Appleton rum estate, and pelican bar.
Our driver Adrian was early picking us up from our hotel and made sure we got around safely, giving us some background along the way. We stopped for a local spot for lunch that he recommended, which was both cheap and delicious (we got stewed pork and curry chicken). Ar was well-air conditioned, spacious, and spotless. Adrian even cleaned the floors while we were doing activities so it would be clean again when we got back. We would happily book with YJTG and Adrian again.
As far as the excursion items:
- YS falls: very organized set up and the falls are beautiful. the individual guides for each group (in this case, husband and I had our own) led us through the swimming areas, showing us where to step on the submerged rocks and how to use the rope swings, and taking plenty of photos for us without us even asking. We weren’t able to swim at the last set of falls due to the currents being too strong from recent rains, but we still enjoyed ourselves regardless. Of note, some of the waterfall areas are not recommended for non-swimmers, but there are other shallow swimming areas for children/non-swimmers.
- Appleton rum estate: to our surprise, this was actually our favorite of the 3. We knew absolutely nothing about rum and Appleton does a great job of walking you through the entire process, and you get to taste/participate in the steps. We enjoyed the rum to the point that we bought some Appleton rum at duty free later on, something we never do.
- Pelican bar: the only way to get there is by boat, which picked us up from Adrian and took us back later (after asking us for an approximate pick up time). we would’ve probably enjoyed pelican bar more if the weather was sunnier, as it’s a cool little bar in the middle of the water. There are drinks/food for sale, and the water around the bar is shallow enough to stand in.
Overall, we enjoyed this set of excursions and would recommend it to others!

This tour was great. "V" our driver was very informative about Jamaica and its history. The Pelican Bar is a must! Black river and Appleton Rum tour are awesome too.
Great experience but long time travelling

Good trip although maybe a little too much travelling in one day on dodgy roads. Our guide Dale was excellent. He provided a fascinating insight into the island and the people and pointed out some interesting points and facts along the way. The Black River experience was really good, we saw 3 crocodiles and got to hold a baby one in the nursery. The YS falls were spectacular and we got some great pictures under the waterfall, although we would have liked more time here. The Rum making experience was also great.. really informative, funny guide who talked us through the whole rum process and we got to sample a few at the end. The journey home was 2 and a half hours around windy, pot holed roads that cast a shadow over the event as my wife isn’t the best traveller, it would have been nice to have been told it was this far away in advance. On the whole though a good trip made better by Dale’s input
You're Paying for a Driver, not a Tour Guide

We really enjoyed the Black River Safari, and spent about an hour at YS Falls and enjoyed jumping and swimming in the falls. The Appleton Rum Tour was okay, worth a visit if you're not well versed in distilleries - but for us we didn't learn anything new about their process compared to other rum or whiskey tours we've been on. Also we found $39 to be very overpriced when you're touring with 22 other people, should be capped at 10 persons IMO and the tastings could have been much more generous. We had 1 welcome mixed drink, and 3 TINY samplings of 3 of their rums. Most importantly, I think it should be known that you're basically paying for a driver to take you to the 3 of 4 locations, not a tour guide. Our driver didn't give us any info during the hours long drives, except sometimes randomly letting us know that we're passing through "___" town name. In addition, although I understand that the tour lists "no lunch provided", I had read other reviews that the driver will stop by a local place for lunch which sounded great to us. That was never offered to us... not until after all 3 tours and it was 3:48pm... which is what, 8 hours from when they first picked us up?
Overall we enjoyed the sites we saw, but those are individual to those site experiences in my opinion, and not due to the booking of this tour.
