WONDERFUL VACATION AWAYS WHEN I STAY AT THE HOLIDAY DAY INN RESORT MONTEGO BAY JAMAICA

Holiday Inn Resort in Montego Bay is home away from home for me and my family. The staff the grounds the hospitality is fantastic,Iâve been to this hotel many times and there is nothing that I can say about this hotel that makes me unhappy. The rooms are very clean, the stuff take the time to make you stay feel very at home. I love the variety of food on the buffet and the other restaurant thatâs on the resort. The Caribbean or Jamaica night they have on the beach once a week itâs phenomenal, the variety of food you have to choose from and the entertainment is awesome, there is something for everyone. The beach and pools are beautiful and the view from your room is breathtaking. My husband favorite place to eat in the daytime is at the jerk cut or the fish and chips cafĂ©, we enjoy every moment of our vacation when we go to the resort you should give it a try and see if yourself. Iâve seen some people have a lot of complaints about the resort, but as we all know you canât please everyone no matter how hard you try, something we have to have patients and understanding, weâre just coming out of a pandemic and everyone just like here in our country is trying to get back to normal. So if you decide to go to holiday Inn Montego Bay go with the intention youâre going to enjoy your vacation, enjoy the beach and enjoy the sunshine and be thankful we are able to make it there safely. Had a fabulous time in the Holiday Inn. The Staff were very friendly and very helpful.
And entertainment was very Good as well.
I was very inpressed with the food In their Italian restaurant and all of the other restaurant in the time I spent there.The bedrooms was ok.

My 1st visit to MoBay

Listen...when you arrived to this property remember that you are on island time and do not rush to be checked in or anything else. The lobby has a good open foyer and if you look straight ahead you can see the pool & the ocean. Just take in the scenery and be patient while your checking in is all I'm saying. This property is very clean I trusted the cleanliness from the moment I stepped on the scene. The view is everything. The staff is very nice but they are not eager to help you are on their time and I respect that. I recommend you get a massage it was awesome. Make sure to tip the staff.

Ok first the good: property itself is clean. Most of staff are hospitable. Food everywhere. Something to do at all times. The atm gives only US dollars. Good place of you like to drink and watch the shows. Always ladies with crafts and such selling souvenirs. Shuttle free to Rose Hall.
Ok now for the bad: keep in mind this is a holiday Inn and is considered cheap. Food at âspecialty restaurants is awful. Like you want to spit it out awful. We booked at seafood restaurant and they had a hockey puck of a piece of salmon. Def previously frozen. We got up and went to buffet. Buffet food is your average buffet food. But lots of it. Only open a few hours at a time so get it while you can. Also the buffet is constantly running out of cups for drinks and silverware. You have to hunt it down. The staff couldnât care less either lol. If you need something and they donât have it they shrug their shoulders and walk away. The room: adequate. The bathroom is disgusting and tiny! I have pics. Also you wonât sleep til about midnight since thatâs when the entertainment stops because itâs loud as all get out. This is all preference so if you donât mind then you might be ok here.
Itâs a good family place for those on a budget, however, if you leave the hotel, everything is expensive because they really overcharge the tourists. If someone in your party is a foodie, they will not be happy at this hotel.
Jamaican food is the best. Enough said. Iâm not talking about the hotel food either. Get out and get authentic food. The luminous boat tour had the best jerk in the world.
