This is an experience that will educate you on the background of the origination of Rastafarian culture in Jamaica. You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Nine Mile and tour where the late and great Bob Marley was born as well be educated on the culture. You will be taken to the beautiful mountainous region of Claremont where you will walk our beautiful farm filled with herbs and such with our excellent tour guides and learn about the land and background of the culture. Lastly, enjoy complimentary fun filled box lunch in our bar & lounge when you can "hold a vibe" and listen to some authentic Jamaican reggae music.

What To Expect
Nine Miles
Nine Mile is a district in Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica, a few miles south of Brown's Town. The population was about 300 in 2009. On February 6, 1945, the reggae musician and peace activist Bob Marley was born there. This will give you the feel of how Rasta culture came about in Jamaica. Explore the small village of Nine Miles and see where Bob Marley was born. See Mt. Zion, where Bob frequently meditated and composed music. Learn about the Rastafarian religion that the musician practiced through informative, engaging commentary from your local guide.

In the small town of Claremont just 25 minutes outside of Ocho Rios is Mello Farms. Take in the mountain views and vast surrounding land. Nature plays a large role in the beliefs of the Rastafarian culture. Walk the farm with our expert tour guides while viewing all the nature herbs and vegetation.
